John Corder completed a 36-year career in law enforcement in 2003 after serving as Chief of Police of Show Low for 20 years. He was appointed by two Arizona governors to serve on various law enforcement boards and commissions, and was president of the Arizona Association of Chiefs of Police in 1999. He served as Board Chariman of the Show Low Chamber of Commerce in 2004, 2005 and 2007. He and his wife Janet, to whom he has been married since 1964, owned and operated the Maxwell Hair Shop in Show Low for 22 years. |
Terry Ringey completed a 35-year career in law enforcement when he retired in 2005. He served for nearly 18 years as Chief of Police of Pinetop-Lakeside, and almost 9 years before that for the Town of Eagar. He graduated with honors from the FBI National Academy (FBINA) and served twice as past-president of the Arizona Chapter of the academy's association. He is a lifetime member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police. He and his high-school sweetheart, Sheila, married in 1966 and have two daughters and five grandchildren. Terry and Sheila have lived in the White Mountains since 1979. |
